Brunch at Stronghill

Krista's yummy looking yogurt with granola and berries.
I ordered the classic with my eggs scrambled and the sausage that's made in house.
Their sausage is INCREDIBLE!!!
Adam looks like he might just cry. Those waffles are huge by the way.
Me and Erik enjoying our brunch.
"I wonder if they'll chrome my tits..." -Krista
A fantastic chromed statue of David by Michelangelo.
I want this for my house.
We had no idea what this meant.

Stronghill was delicious. I was sad they didn't have their crème brûlée french toast after hearing so much about it from Krista and Adam. The decor was gorgeous and the wait staff was constantly checking on our coffee and water. Overall I am very happy with the brunch selection we made.

Listening to: "It's All Right" by Apples In Stereo
Saw this on the bar at NYDeli last night.
I'm lame I know, but I love finding stuff like this when you least expect it. So many people miss out on the little things and don't take the time to open their eyes and see what's right in front of them.

I seem to find a lot of fun things around Richmond.

Photographed: today (can't remember exactly when I found it)

 Found: December 10, 2010

Green & Yellow

So far I've been able to keep up with posting everyday. I don't really have much to say right now. This weekend is becoming more and more epic with each passing evening. I can only hope tonight follows suit and that Super Bowl XLV doesn't let me down (GO PACKERS!!!).

Just so I post something besides a few sentences here is a song. It seems appropriate especially with the Super Bowl closing in fast.

Miracles

... it's a miracle anyone ever liked these guys.

This song is so dumb, but the commentary is amazing

Even SNL made fun of these clowns... uh I mean juggalos.

Robberies in the Neighborhood

Earlier today my parents informed me that our neighborhood is having issues with people's homes being broken into and things stolen. The burglar strikes between 9AM and noon. I'm not sure what has been stolen, but we live in the freaking country why would someone come out here to do this? I feel like the west end or some of the nice areas downtown would be the best place.

They informed me that the shed is now being locked and to make sure when I leave that all the doors are locked. Well, the also told me to lock the doors while I'm here by myself. As if I didn't know how to handle a home invader they also told me if someone comes in the house to either lock up in a room and call the police or leave the house. I'm definitely not stupid enough to approach someone who's robbing the house. This all just makes me think of Antoine Dodson and the wonderful "Bed Intruder Song" that has been such a smash hit.

Hopefully while my parents are out of town no one does decide this house would be a good one to rob.

Epic Fail

Saw this at the downtown Very Berry and couldn't help but get a little chuckle.

It's a cute idea that they have with the post-it notes and sharpies though. People can write whatever they want and put it up on the glass. There were many post-its about love, some about silly stuff, and a few Matt Damon ones. We posted the Matt Damon ones.

On a side note Very Berry did not disappoint me today like it has in the past. Their flavors of frozen yogurt included two of my favorites and the toppings were also not a heartbreaker. They had peanut butter chips again. This made me happy as a freaking clam.

Filmed at Black Sheep

Tim and I went out for lunch at one of our favorite spots in town; Black Sheep.
When we got there we saw a sign that said there would be a film crew there, but decided to eat anyway.
We got asked to eat food on camera and talk about it.
Let me just say this is the most awkward thing ever. EVER!

Close your Eyes and Wish real Hard

It's 11:11PM on a Tuesday night so make a wish.

What do you wish for?
Fame, love, money, courage, success, weight loss, a zombie apocalypse or something else?

What do I usually wish for?
I won't go into too much detail but usually it's about love. Success with love.

Have your wishes ever come true?
Did you go for the thing you wanted most at that one moment in time or expect it to fall in your lap on it's own?

Me, I'm trying to make things happen. I'm going out and living my life. I try not to worry about finding someone too often, but I'm worried it will never happen for me. That I won't find that person who despite all their faults I still love at the end of the day, and that no one will be able to take me for the strong willed and stubborn lady I am.

I just try to keep the faith and pick myself up when I fall down and keep living life.
That's all you can do.

Today is a New Day

I realize my blog has become just a random collection of photos recently. There's nothing exciting about a bunch of photos of my dogs acting cute. No one cares and I don't blame them. If they weren't my dogs I wouldn't give two seconds to this blog. Because of that I want to try to do more with this blog. I want to actually make something of this thing instead of wasting my time and any poor soul that happens my way. Starting today and going on for the next year I'm going to try to do more and write something everyday. I'll probably still post some photos and stuff like that but I want this to be much more exciting for me and anyone else who actually reads this.

I hope you enjoy.
I hope I can manage to do this everyday.

Cemetery Walk

Krista and I were walking in Hollywood Cemetery when we came across this little gem. There were plenty of cute, quirky little things to be found in there. It was a shame I didn't have another camera besides the one on my phone.

Fuzzy Hat Love & Out at NYDeli

Marissa and I in For the Love of Chocolate. This chick is pretty freaking amazing.

 Krista is in 7th Heaven.

I think I should seriously wear hats more often.
Fierce.

Krista also looks pretty hot in this hat.

Of course Marissa had to wear that awesome hat too.

Adam and Erik are some classy dudes.
Love the faces/noises they make.

Eric is seriously the king of faces. Marissa is clearly joining in on this and I missed the memo.

Krista and I out in NYDeli. I love that place.
