It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Even though there was a ton of snow on the road Paul and I braved it to go to Philadelphia.

We were thrilled at the sight of the stadium.

We saw the Philadelphia, PA skyline and knew there was only one thing to do...

After driving through the snow covered streets (they had 2 feet)

We found what we were searching for...

We read the instructions and shared a laugh at how serious they take ordering.

We finally had in hand a cheesesteak and fries... our hearts and stomachs were content

We decided instead of standing in the freezing cold wind and snow to sit in the car and enjoy our prize in the warmth of my Jeep.

Pat's King of Steaks claimed to be the originator of the cheesesteak...

Despite the warnings of Pat's we had other ideas... and a mission.

A while back we had discussed coming to Philadelphia and trying a bunch of cheesesteak places to find the best...

And again we walked back to the car to enjoy the savory cheesesteak... (look at these pictures is making me hungry)

After enjoying the two cheesesteaks and satisfying our hunger and curiosity for the moment we headed to the stadium for the Eagles v. 49ers game and the real reason we braved the icy road conditions.

What an awesome view from our seats... our first NFL game!

We were in such awe of everything and as giggly as school girls waiting for the game to start.

E-A-G-L-E-S... GO EAGLES!!!!

ZOMG!!! Eagles players

This was all that was left of the snow by the time we got in the stadium

We of course were sitting on the Eagles side...

Too excited for words at this point.

So close we could taste it.

Fly Eagles Fly!!!

We made a cute popsicle pair in the cold...

Next time we want seats here.... so close you could almost smell the grass.

A little fuzzy but we still look cute and not very warm.

A shot of the stadium on our way to the car to warm up

After the game we were starving and so went to Dalessandro's for one last cheesesteak.

And our trip wouldn't have been complete without a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art... ROCKY STEPS!!!!!

We made our way to the top and declared victory!!!

We went sledding down the steps instead of walking back down.

Guess who found the Rocky statue... unlike Rocky we weren't totally pleased his statue was moved (Rocky Balboa movie reference).

Pictures in front of the statue followed us finding it...

I want to have a statue of me too now...

You know what they say about guys with big feet....
big shoes.

I wasn't ready to part with Rocky or Philadelphia after having such a fun day with Paul...

With one finally Philadelphia kiss in front of Rocky I was ready to head back and fall asleep in my own bed.

...this day will live forever in my mind and heart. I couldn't have asked for a better day trip to Philadelphia with Paul. I'm sure we'll have more adventures to come.
