The sad thing is these are just the dresses I've purchased since Memorial Day weekend.

I Really Really Want Brunch

All of this looks amazing. I only wish I had the energy to make something or someone to go out to get brunch with right now. I am having a serious attack of cravings for any sort of cooked batter (pancakes, waffles, or crepes), eggs, and bacon. Clearly with some fruit. I'm going to die if I don't go to brunch at least once this month.

That is not an over exaggeration either.

Babysitting

Watching my managers kids was not as peaceful as I thought it would be. They are by no means terrible kids, but I'm exhausted. I broke up a fight, colored, pushed them on swings, watched them play and bike, made a snack, got them dressed for sports practices, and got locked in a bedroom at one point.

The middle child told me I'm the hottest babysitter and he also asked me if I had a boyfriend. Then he told me he is my boyfriend. I thought it was cute/flattering.

Now I'm going to lay down and watch some TV with dinner until I go to bed.
I'm exhausted.

Greatest Fear Realized

I just got home from babysitting and my parents dropped a huge bomb on me. My car won't be coming back from the shop. It's done for. The mechanic has no idea what is wrong with it so it's done. Dead. I now have to drive my dad's old POS jeep. I'm not too pleased with this. Not pleased in the least bit.

I am grateful to have a car to drive, but my dad's car is terrible. Sure it's a year older, but it drives like crap and I think it gets worse gas mileage than my car... if that's even possible. I'm sad to see my car go and even sadder that I wasn't the last one to drive her. She was my first car, and I've had a lot of memories in that beautiful jeep. Hopefully, I'll be getting another car once fall gets here. That's the plan at least. I'm not going to get another SUV. Instead I'm looking at sedans and hatchbacks for my second or third car however you look at it.

If my week hasn't been going awesome enough already today I lost my cell phone and I have no freaking clue where it is. I've looked everywhere in the house and my car.

Today was both Good and Bad

Today, work went by quickly, and I had a fun time after work seeing Hangover 2 and getting Buzz & Ned's BBQ. I thought the movie was funny even if it was a little too reminiscent of the original at many points along the storyline. It was still a nice sequel to a great movie. After the movie it was time for a little Buzz & Ned's famous BBQ. I ordered up the chicken BBQ meal with fries and hush puppies. YUM!!!

On the way home my car broke down. I literally just got it back from the shop yesterday, and now it's back. I broke down right before I could even get onto I-95 in the sweltering heat. It was not good. Only 2 cars stopped to see if I was fine. Which is more than I expected. AAA told me it would be a serious 90 minutes before the tow truck would come. At least that only lasted about 20 minutes. My parents met me up at Llewellyn's place where I dropped my car off. I hope it's nothing serious.

It's Tuesday

Nothing much to report except I'm sick. My throat is killing me and I'm sore all over. Hopefully this will pass before I have to babysit on Friday for one of my Banana Republic managers.
Left work early today since felt le gross.

Guess I'll be saving up some money to buy these bad boys.

New Job Possibility

I might have a job opportunity at Bombshell Waxing & Skincare Studio. Let me just say this would be pretty sweet. I would just have to pay cost of product to get anything done. I'd make more money than I do now and it's something I am pretty awesome at. Elephant is paying me crap because they know I want office experience. Lame.

So, yes this wouldn't be office experience that would look good on a resume but it would be good money that I could save up. I really want to save this money so I can afford to go backpacking across Europe one day. Or maybe take a trip to some country in Asia. Let's face it I want to be a real world traveler and maybe one day write a book about my life and experiences. To do that I'm going to need money from somewhere.
