No Shave November

It is a well known fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and that Black History month is February. What about beards? Shouldn't they be esteemed and respected with their own month dedicated to the growth and appreciation of facial hair on men. Women often find it sexy when their man can grow a nice beard or sexy mustache. This is a month that should be celebrated the country... no the world over. It takes a real man to grow a proper beard. This is something people should not turn their noses up at because proper facial hair eludes many men today.

Pros of having a beard include the following:

1. having a beard people will perceive you as more masculine, attractive, dominant, mature, courageous, and non-conforming
2. prominent men in history have had beards Abraham Lincoln, Charles Darwin, Jesus, and Chuck Norris
3. you'll have more time if you don't shave your beard it is suggested that a man wastes 139 days out of his life shaving
4. protects your face from harmful chemicals and pollution in the air that can cause wrinkling and acne
5. keeps your face warmer in the winter
6. cushions your jawline if someone punches you
7. saving money by not having to purchase razors and shaving cream
8. it's the flavor savor
9. you can look like a lumberjack
10. did I mention Chuck Norris has a beard?
11. it helps with thinking
12. there are plenty of styles to pick from so it would be easy to find something that represents you and your unique appearance
13. helps you look more mature
14. us women folk can't do it
15. it's super sexy (just look at the photo of the guy below)

As mentioned above their are so many different and appealing styles of beards to chose from. If you need help deciding use the next picture for some help. Good luck and remember with great power comes great responsibility. Don't abuse the beard.

Christmas Idea #1 for 2010

I want a stylish new camera bag from Epiphanie.

I absolutely love this one in turquoise or pink.

 I think this bag is to die for in the turquoise color.

(This one is probably my favorite of the three.)

I'm feeling red all the way with this bag.

I know they're expensive, but they are also the most amazing camera bags I've ever seen. The one's I have are hideous and these can also carry purse things like my keys and cell phone. I wouldn't look like such a retard carrying one of these. I just know my parents would find this to be an silly waste of money, but come on it would protect my wonderful camera and look stylish at the same time. Waste of money? I think not.

Quantum Metric Spaces

Yesterday, Meagan Cox and I went to The National to see Metric. FOR FREE!!!! Thanks to my buddy Josh who was working the merchandise table that night.

Our tasty plate of spaghetti that we so romantically shared at Joe's Inn.

It got Lady & the Tramp style when we got to the end of our meal(see above photo). I ordered Laguanitas a Lil Sumpin Sumpin Ale. Delicious.

We got to the National during the opening act. It honestly looked like we didn't miss much with that one. While we waited in anticipation for Metric to come on stage a girl rushed past us with her friend in tow pushing everyone out of her way. The second girl was throwing up into a cup. Neither of us were aware it was THAT kind of show. Seriously though way to go girl on getting that drunk before the headliner even got on stage. Keeping it classy Richmond.

The show was off the chain awesome! Meagan and I had such a killer time. I officially have a super girl crush on Emily Haines.

A Quick Hunger Fix

I just made myself some Nutell and peanut butter swirled toast.

My Favorite Color but not on a Dog

Why would anyone think this is cool?
